Eight rooms with en-suite bathrooms
Monmouth has inaround it some superb bed and breakfast accomodation and one or two really great hotels in the town. But it could always do with more places to stay for visitors and one of the great things about Prego is that as well as the restaurant the proprietors have built accomodation into the mix, which has been recently awarded 3 stars by the Welsh Tourist Board.
Prego has eight rooms, all with TV's, coffee and tea-making facilities, en-suite bathrooms, hairdriers etc and offers guests a pleasent lounge lit during the day by a lovely roof skylight.
Located in the heart of Monmouth's old town
Monmouth isn't exactly a metropolis-sized place so anywhere in the centre of town is not going to be far from places to eat, drink or sample the gorgeous countryside. Being located in Church Street, the pedestrianised center of the old part of Monmouth town does, though, make it a really great place to pitch up for the night. Free of a lot of traffic noise, it is also quiet and has ample public parking right outside the back door.
