We have solar heating panels on the roof for our hot water system, and try to recycle as much as possible.
Children to OAPs, business and working people and walking disabled ALL welcome.

Elizabeth is happy to invite you into her home, as a traveler, holidaymaker, with children, professional or working person in need of somewhere comfortable and friendly to stay. I endeavor to make your stay as comfortable and stress free as possible. Partially disabled people who can walk are also welcome.
There is a floribundant garden which we have landscaped, with a couple of small ponds. With tables and chairs for you to sit and enjoy the lovely spring and summer and early autumn evenings, which we do get here (though remember this is Britain!) and enjoy the stunning views.
We do encourage you to make the most of all the interesting and beautiful places you can easily access by car, local transport etc. We are not too far for you to visit on a day's outing to the seaside, Gower Coast , Swansea and Porthcawl, Cardiff about 40 to 50 miles on the A40 & M4 from here. Also on the Welsh borders, not very far are the towns of Abergavenny, Chepstow, Hay on Wye and Usk, with the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons practically on our doorstep as is the Forest of Dean on the English side of the border.
Also on the English side, is the town of Ross-on-Wye, and the Cathedral cities of Gloucester, and Hereford, Bristol and even Bath are a day's outing. There have masses of information to hand to help you find your dreams!
The town center is only half a mile from the house. There are lots of pubs, restaurants and eating places, also many interesting shops to browse in.
Monmouth now has a theatre for classical and musical productions and a picture house, which doubles as a theatre for our local amateur productions.
There are lots of things to do down on the river. We have our local golf club, with several others within a five mile radius. Newport is 25 miles away.
This is a versatile, artistic household with many other interests to keep me busy. I teach flamenco dancing locally once a week and occasionally am asked to produce a demonstration for charity and also love the arts and crafts- embroidery, crocheting, knitting etc..
The walls of the house are covered with Phil's pictures, (a bit like a picture gallery) which you are welcome to view and even buy!
