Situated in the heart of the Vale of Usk and Wye Valley, set in the small village of Dingestow which is situated 4 miles from Monmouth and 3 miles from Raglan.
The Village shop and Post Office is only 100 metres from the site entrance and offers a wide selection of food and other goods. Calor gas and camping Gaz, as well as other camping items are available on the site.
The Parish church is very close by, as is the village hall where various functions are held during the summer.
Around the perimeter of the site runs the River Trothy, where fishing is available to all visitors, and a background of woodland completes the lovely setting of this select Caravan Park and Camping site.
Facilities
Everyone would agree that on any caravan and camping site the quality of the toilet facilities is of the utmost importance. Our facilities building is modern and well equipped and we ensure that it is always in prime condition. Hot water is always on tap in the washbasins and showers, and a laundry room with deep sink, washing machine, iron, and tumble dryer makes washing a pleasure. Razor points are fitted in the Gents, and in the Ladies an area is set aside for hair drying etc. A separate dishwashing room is provided with free hot water always available. Outside are water standpipes and a disposal point for dirty water, chenical closets, etc.
General
At Bridge Caravan Park and Camping site you can choose to spend your time simply relaxing in the quiet surroundings or take advantage of a multitude of activities in the surrounding area. Whichever you choose you can be sure of being welcome and comfortable during your stay
Some seasonal caravans are accepted which may remain on site throughout the season. Please ask for details.
Dogs are allowed as long as they are kept on leads.
Dining out
Our Local pub offers good food, with full dining facilities, gardens, and play areas for children. In nearby Monmouth and Raglan many other Cafes, Restaurants and Snack Bars are available. For a meal eith a difference you can visit the Castles of Caldicot or Clearwell for a medieval banquet.
Holiday Hire Caravans
Fully Equipped, modern, static caravans for hire on a weekly basis from Saturday to Saturday. Short breaks can be booked subject to availability. Please enquire for prices and further information.
How to get here
Approaching from the M4 turn off at Newport on the A449 trunk road towards Monmouth (Junction 24), continue up the A449 to the Abergavenny/Raglan junction where you will see signs for Caravan and Camping. Turn off at the Abergavenny/Raglan junction and follow the signs.
Approaching from the North, M5, M50 and Ross-on-Wye follow dual carriageway to Monmouth and continue through road tunnels at Monmouth for a further 6 miles to the Abergavenny/Raglan junction. Turn off at the Abergavenny/Raglan junction and follow signs for caravan and Camping.
The site has been awarded a Three-pennant rating by the A.A., is listed in the R.A.C., Caravan Club, Camping Club and Motor Caravanners' Club, and has won the Memorial Trophy presented by the Wyedean Tourist Board for the best new facility for tourism in the area. We also participate in the Wales Tourist Board grading scheme and have been awarded a 4 Star grading.
